Activities

ATOS activities are designed to fulfill the mission and goals of the organization—increasing public awareness, appreciation, and opportunities to hear performances on remaining instruments. We provide yearly grants through our endowment fund to upgrade/repair many public installations. We also promote and provide opportunities for new performers to learn the unique techniques related to theatre organ performance, as well as providing opportunities to attain the skills necessary to maintain and preserve these unique instruments. In addition to specific activities to entertain and educate, ATOS presents awards to individuals and organizations that have shown dedication to preserving and promoting this unique musical experience. As a member, there is the opportunity to attend yearly conventions, receive the bi-monthly magazine Theatre Organ Journal, and attend special education events.
