Lots of us grew up knowing William Boyd as Hopalong Cassidy, but he was a silent movie star before that. Our December movie shows him with his then-wife Elinor Fair in "The Yankee Clipper" from 1927, accompanied by live music played on the original theatre pipe organ installed in 1928.
