Event: Winter Silent Movie at Sooner State Chapter

A silent movie featuring Buster Keaton will be featured at the monthly meeting of the Sooner State Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society. We will be featuring the 1920 full-length feature "The Saphead." Buster plays "Bertie the Lamb," the simple-minded son of a rich financier who must find his own way in the world, which includes comic misadventures on Wall Street. This was Buster's first feature film. Of course, you will see all kinds of wonderful Buster Keaton stunts, too! The movie will be accompanied on the 1928 Robert-Morton theatre pipe organ by Bill Rowland. Free popcorn and bottled water as well (donations appreciated!).
