Jared Goldinger
Jared Goldinger is the organist at both Faith Lutheran Church, and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Massillon, and one of the House Organists at the Palace Theatre in Canton, home to the 3/11 “Wonder” Kilgen Organ. Jared began learning the piano at the age of 7 under the guidance of the Late Jack Hone. In 2015, he expanded his repertoire by beginning classical organ studies under the tutelage of Mark Thewes and theatre organ with Jay Spencer. Further enriching his skills, Jared sought mentorship from Jelani Eddington in 2018. Jared attended the 2016 American Theatre Organ Society’s Annual Convention in Cleveland as a George Wright Memorial Fellowship winner. He also attends the annual Summer Youth Adventure, aimed to refine his technique and skill further. As a result, Jared was a finalist in 2019 and 2023 for the Young Theatre Organist’s Competition, held during the American Theatre Organ Society’s Annual Convention.
Beyond his interest in the organ, Jared spends most of his time creating music online, whether for clients or his own enjoyment. Notably, he has arranged a number of pop songs, commissioned by Kent State University for their A Capella show choir “Vocal Intensity”. He hopes to continue creating music for the community, as well as broadening his musical horizons to share with the world.
