Bequest Giving

Bequest Giving

An option to gifting one’s gift to ATOS is to include a bequest in your will. The key to this approach is making clear your intent to your loved ones and your estate’s executor.
Below are examples of language you can use for different types of bequests to be included in your will or trust. Be sure to consult an attorney in preparing legal documents and include both our full legal name of American Theatre Organ Society and our tax identification number 94-6101867.

Percentage of your estate
“I give ____% of my estate to the American Theatre Organ Society, tax identification number 94-6101867, for its general charitable uses and purposes.”

Fixed amount of money
“I give $____ to the American Theatre Organ Society, tax identification number 94-6101867, for its general charitable uses and purposes.”

Real estate or other property
“I give [description of the property, including exact location] to the American Theatre Organ Society, tax identification number 94-6101867, for its general charitable uses and purposes.”

Residual Bequest
“I give the residue of my estate to the American Theatre Organ Society, tax identification number 94-6101867, for its general charitable uses and purposes.”

For any of the above suggested terminology, make sure it is acceptable or your attorney. For contact with ATOS, please address:
